About Us
Hello and welcome to Rotor Tips.net I hope that you enjoy your stay with us I have created this site to satisfy two needs. The first is to allow me to generate a small income to aid me in looking after my wife who is suffering from Primary ongoing Multiple Sclerosis. This means that she is now incapable of doing anything for herself, thus I now do everything from home so that I can look after her. If the situation had been reversed then I know for certain that she would have looked after me the same way. The second reason is that I have always had a love of helicopters and rotary winged craft from an early age, in fact It has been a fairly general love of flying since I scratch built a flying 3 foot span model of the "Santos Dumont Demoiselle" whilst I was at school. I also have a keen interest in both engineering and art that I have developed since my childhood. Having spent the last twenty seven years of my life sharing my experiences with the local Scout Troop, where we have built twenty metre span rope bridges, and learnt how to crash my model helicopters as well. Nothing could bring me more pleasure than to share the experiences that I have had over the years with all of you, and I hope that over the coming years that you find the re-telling as facinating as I found the living of those experiences. Please bookmark rotortips.net for your convenience as this site is constantly under construction |
